The meeting at Riverton was called to order at 8:05 pm by Dave Katz. Minutes from the March 12, 2002 meeting were approved.

New representative, Rhys Haschert from Stratford was introduced.

The new qualifying times were presented. The new times will be on the web page.

Official clinics will be held June 8, 11, and 13. The Starter/Referee must also certify in stroke and turn. There were no major rule changes. Officials must recertify every other year. The coaches meeting and scorers’ table clinics are mandatory.

There will be no recall for false starts at the Championship Meet, however swimmers will be brought back at duel meets. This will be covered at the officials meeting.

The computer training classes will be held at Carusi Middle School on May 21 and May 22 at 7:00.

Covered Bridge is hosting the Championship Meet. Meet directors, Lou Moffa and Joe Maniaci, presented a sample t-shirt. These will be available at the June meeting. Ad forms were distributed. Additional information can be obtained at CBSwimClub.org.

We need a volunteer to be the award chairperson for the Championship Meet. This should come from the A division.

Discussion was held about saving seats for the Championship Meet. Various ways were discussed to stop this practice. Covered Bridge will try to implement some of the suggestions.

The reps should bring a printed roster signed to verify that all birthdays have been checked to the June 8 meeting.

The Old Orchard Mini Meet will be Sunday July 14. Packets will be handed out at the June 8 meeting. The Barclay Midi Meet will be held July 7.

Reps were reminded that meet sheets must be legible and the darkest copy should go to the home club.

The next meeting will be on June 8, 2002 at 1:00PM at GCIT.

The Wedgewood meeting will be held on July 11, 2002 and the seating meeting will be at Woodcrest on July 25, 2002.
