Tri-County Swimming Pool Association
MINUTES OF MEETING
March 8, 2005
Vice President Gene Howard called the meeting to order at 8:15 P.M. The minutes of the January 11, 2005 meeting were approved.
There were no new TCSPA representatives present.
Treasurer’s Report: Paul Patterson reported that the current bank balance was $6,353.90. He had one bill to be paid – a $1,000.00 deposit for GCIT – which will leave a balance of $5,353.90. Paul also distributed a spreadsheet indicating the club bills for 2005 and asked that all clubs submit their payment to him no later than April 15, 2005.
Swimming Coordinator: David Katz reported that he is reviewing the data concerning championship qualifying times. He will have a report at the May meting.
Computer Reports: Joe Crick reminded everyone that the software has been upgraded to Hy-TekTeam Manager IV. All teams must purchase the upgrade. The upgrade is available from Hy-Tek Ltd.com.
B- Meets - Art Kollmier distributed the latest B- Meet schedule. He asked that teams that wish to make further changes get the consent of all teams involved.
Old Business: The next meeting is scheduled for 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at the Riverton Country Club.
2005 Championship Meet – Host Club: Greg Shetler indicated that Sunnybrook is working on the shirt design and that they are considering the possibility of buying-out GCIT on the food concession rights.
New Business: There was spirited discussion on the championship meet concerning the pros and cons of moving the 12 and under finals to the Sunday session and the ability to handle the resultant increase in spectators. Various options for a solution, including maintaining last year’s format, were offered. Representatives were advised to be prepared to vote on a format at the May meeting.
Barclay Farm announced that their Midi-meet will be held on July 17, 2005.
The dates for the Officials Training Clinics at GCIT are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, June 14, 2005
Thursday, June 16, 2005
