MINUTES OF MEETING
March 2004
Open Meeting: David Katz called the meeting to order at 8:15 PM
The minutes of the January meeting were introduced. A motion was made to accept the minutes and it was seconded by a majority of hands.
New TRI COUNTY representative from Riverdel was introduced, Bobby-Joe Esposito
A request was made by David Katz to update all the website information via the sheet passed around from table to table.
Treasurer's Report: Paul Patterson advised we have a balance of $6685.78 with no deposits or payments made since the February meeting. He still needs to collect $2500.00 from Danzeisen & Quigley. All preliminary dues must be paid by 4/15/04.
Swimming: Ron Kane reported there would be no change in the false start, no-
recall rule for dual A and B meets. Qualifying times have been adjusted and four boys times were lowered.
Ron commented on the analysis Joe Crick had submitted comparing qualifying times from 1995 to the present.
2004 Championship Meet: The dates are August 7 & 8, 2004. The fire marshal rules have NOT changed since last year. Construction is ahead of schedule and expected to be completed in advance of the championship meet. David asked the reps to think about one session on Sunday.
Computer Report: Joe Crick reported the clinics for starter/ referee and stroke & turn are scheduled for Saturday, June 12 at GCIT. The Trico reps meeting will be at 9:00 AM,
followed by the Starter/Referee and Stroke/Turn clinics at 10:30 and 12:00 with the coaches meeting at 1:00 PM. Tuesday, June 15th and Thursday June 17th, at 6:30pm and 7:30pm will be the other two times for the Officials clinics at GCIT. Joe reminded everyone that officials must be recertified every two years and the list on the web site is current. The scoring table clinics will be held at GCIT only on Saturday at 10:30 and 12:00. Clubs must send a representative to the scoring table clinic. Those clubs needing additional "B' meet ribbons or extra large or small rulebooks should email Joe Crick or John Mahon ASAP.
The computer use training sessions – for clubs to use the meet manager and team manager programs - will probably be held again at Carusi School (Joe still working to secure the facility) the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday before Memorial Day. There will be some new revisions to the scorers' table procedures. Emailing of meet sheets to future opposing teams is permissible.
B-MEETS: If you have any concerns about "B" meets you must email Art Kollmier ASAP.
