MINUTES OF MEETING
June 10, 2006
President, John Mahon, opened the meeting at 9:20 a.m.
The minutes of the May meeting were approved.
New Representatives: We have one new rep, Steve Reiss from Stratford. Welcome!
Treasurer’s Report: Paul Patterson reports there is a beginning balance of $33,050 in the treasury. All team have paid their dues and we have paid 3 bills totaling $5,872.05. Our ending balance is $22,956.89
Swimming: David Katz states all clinics are scheduled. All reps and officials must re-certify. Any questions, call David. Just a reminder that for the tri county meet, please allow the host club members to use your clubs at no charge.
David also states to be a starter; you should be a stroke and turn judge for 2 years.
Computer:
Reminder: After each “A” meet the home team sends clear and legible copies of meet sheets to other teams.
Please read all handouts in your packet. Any questions with them, call Joe Crick.
Next Meeting is July 13th at 7:30 p.m. at Wedgewood Swim Club.
Last Meeting will be July 27th at 7:30 p.m. at Woodcrest Swim Club.
If you have extra event and change cards, notify Gene Howard.
Also available is 1 extra large rule book and 3 extra small ones. There is a 2005 rule book that is free.
Old Business:
Tri County – Mr. Jay Dockins reports this is the 50th annual meet. Extending the date for ordering tee shirts. He will resend the order form. Orders must now be sent by 7/23 and will be distributed on 8/3/06.
Meadowbrook is assuming tent sizes are the same as last year. Advise them if different. They will review layout at next meeting. E-mail Jay of any changes.
Burlington County ads will be due by July 10th.
New Business:
1. Kathy Fitzpatrick suggests each club check their directions and update the website. Send an e-mail to Domenick Acciani.
2. Eligibility Committee will be the first 5 teams alphabetically – Barclay Farm, Brookside, Charleston, Cherry Valley, and Chestnut Run.
Be familiar with the rules in case of an issue. In regard to a family or child’s eligibility to swim, the committee makes the determination about swimming that season. There is a specific procedure to file a complaint. The committee then reviews and decides.
